Metabo bench grinders have a wide range of application. From the simple removal of rust on a spatula to rounding or polishing of metallic workpieces many applications are possible. Two grinding wheels with different grit and version make different operations on one grinding support. The smallest Metabo bench grinder DS 125 and DS 150 are space-saving workshop machines for grinding wheels with a diameter of 125 mm or 150 mm. Further bench grinders have a disc diameter of 175 mm, 200 mm or 250 mm. The DSD 200 and DSD 250 are the most powerful grinders thatnks to a powerful three-phase motor with particularly high torque. All other bench grinders are equipped with a motor for single-phase alternating current.

The special machines for special tasks


The combo bench grinder BS 175 has a large belt grinding arm that can be inclined infinitely instead of a second grinding wheel. Like this wood or metal workpieces can be processed comfortably. Matching sanding belts are available as accessories. Another specialist is the combo bench grinder TNS 175. It uses a wet and a dry grinding wheel with 175 mm diameter. Thanks to the combination of wet and dry grinding many other application areas can be covered.

All Metabo bench grinders have a maintenance-free induction motor that runs in a particularly quiet and low-vibration manner. The robust guards are fixed on the double grinding supports with a bayonet closure, which permits fast and easy disc change. Large spark protection glasses protect the user from flying sparks that are dangerous above all to the eyes. The additional wearing of safety goggles is therefore strongly encouraged. The restart protection prevents unintentional start-up after a power cut to protect the user. Tool-free height-adjustable workpiece supports and vibration-dampening rubber feed for safe stand are other details for safe and comfortable working with the Metabo bench grinders.

Grinding wheels, sanding belts and machine stands as accessories


Grinding wheels made from aluminium oxide, pink aluminium oxide and silicone carbide as well as wet grinding wheels are available in the relevant diameters in the Metabo range of accessories for bench grinders. A practical machine stand with tool storage and a wall panel permit space-saving positiniong of a Metabo bench grinder and can also be bought as accessory.
