Due to the use of high quality, high performance components, Metabo angle grinders have always been known for their low vibration. Now with the introduction of our autobalancing system our grinders with a wheel diameter of up to 150 mm have
the lowest vibration on the market; even lower than the exposure limit of 5 m/s²*! Under normal working conditions, this low vibration level allows you to use Metabo angle grinders for the majority of the working day. Your advantage: forward-thinking technology, less downtime and higher productivity.
*Metabo‘s vibration values are measured in accordance with EN 60745 and recognised by KEMA, NL.
Competitor vibration values with autobalancers were tested triaxially in accordance with EN 60745 (surface grinding) by an independent laboratory (Intertek).
The autobalancer is integrated on the angle grinder spindle, where it replaces the support flange.
The ball bearings in the autobalancer work to counterbalance the grinding wheel – vibrations are signifi cantly reduced.
When the angle grinder is switched off, Metabo‘s disc brake system brings the grinding wheel to a stop within three seconds (only WBA 11-125 and WBA 11-150 Quick).
